Make copied files (images, videos, etc.) draggable like local files

I would love to be able to drag images out of the Paste bar onto file inputs (“Choose file…” buttons) as you normally can with image files on the computer.

For sure. Also, drag to a Finder window or the desktop to create a file in that location. So, in general, treat drags like file location references with copy/move operations and all.

Yes! This would be great. Currently to save a copied image to my desktop/Finder from Paste I need to export it to Photos, open Photos, and then drag that image to my desktop. This adds so much extra time to the process, plus I need to go and tidy up my Photos library now and then from all of the photos I exported through it.

I use Yoink for that purpose.

  1. Drag the image to Yoink
  2. Drag from Yoink into “choose file” dialog

Literally was about to say yoink method

What would be amazing is if you could access your pastes in a window, and organises delete, batch or transfer/change sometimes I wish they would stay as little cards and I be able to mix and match - would be really good for blending your pastes and it looking nice
