Would like to see better security features such as Face ID to open up app with thank you

I’d prefer the option to lock specific boards rather than the whole app. Most of what I pin isn’t private, and I’d rather not have to go through Face ID every time I want to grab a color code or filename template. If you frequently go back and forth between the mobile app and other apps, that would slow you down a lot. Plus, it may interfere with things in progress, like searches or edits.

Being able to lock individual boards would provide similar security for the items you wish to protect. Personally, I’m thinking it would make a great brain-dump-slash-journal. You could write down your thoughts pretty much anywhere on any supported device, add a timestamp, and store it for processing whenever you get to it — all without a single context switch. You could then access it anywhere, or you could export it and file it in the app of your choice. No getting distracted by whatever else is in there. No clogging up apps with things that don’t belong there just because you needed to get them written down.

…actually, I think I’m going to go set up a (non-secret) version of that right now.

It would be nice to have it on macOS too with TouchID, I have some boards that I would like to protect but there is no way with Past currently

In iOS you can already do this with iOS 18, tap and hold the app, and add Face ID to it, but it would still expose the contents if you’re using the Paste Keyboard I think.

That would be nice to have on MacOS. Protect a board with a password or fingerprint. And also ensure these elements don’t appear in the clipboard history when doing a search.

Is there any way we “power users” can help speed this feature up? I would be more than glad to help with this.
